ASU Soccer: Full 2017 Schedule Released

ASU soccer released their 2017 schedule which includes home matches versus Ohio State, USC and UCLA and road matches at Stanford, Colorado and Arizona.
ASU soccer are beginning a new era with head coach Graham Winkworth taking over the program after the resignation of former head coach Kevin Boyd.
Winkworth will look to lead the Sun Devils back towards the top of the highly-competitive Pac-12 which features the defending national champions USC and powerhouses UCLA, Stanford and California.
The Sun Devils will open up their schedule in Tempe August 18 versus Ohio State (4:30 p.m. PST on Pac-12 Arizona) followed by a game versus Beijing Normal University two days later (11 a.m. PST on Pac-12 Network).

Arizona State will play their first road match August 25 at San Diego State, who are coming off an appearance in the Mountain West Championship Game where they lost to UNLV on penalties.
The following weekend Arizona State will host the Sun Devil Desert Classic with matches versus Boston University on September 1 and Central Florida on September 3 (2 p.m. on Pac-12 Arizona).
ASU will follow this tournament by heading to Tucson for the University of Arizona Tournament where they will play Texas Tech on September 8 (4:30 p.m. PST on Pac-12 Network) and Florida Gulf Coast on the 10th (11 a.m. PST on Pac-12 Arizona).
After games versus Hawaii and Weber State in Tempe, Arizona State will open up Pac-12 play on September 22 versus Oregon State before a tough two-game road trip at Cal and Stanford on September 28 and October 1.
The tough stretch continues when the return home on October 5 when they host UCLA and the defending nation champions USC on October 8.
Arizona State will then head north for a three-game road trip at Oregon on October 13 (4 p.m. PST on Pac-12 Arizona), at Colorado on October 19 (2 p.m. PST on Pac-12 Arizona) and at Utah on October 22.
The Sun Devils will wrap up the regular season with two of the last three games at home.
On October 26, ASU will host Washington State and on October 29, the Sun Devils will host Washington before heading to Tucson for the regular season finale at Arizona on November 2 (7:30 p.m. PST on Pac-12 Arizona).

The Sun Devils feature a young team with some key leaders graduated, but if Arizona State can stay healthy, they should field a competitive team.
