ASU baseball opened a three-game series at Washington Friday looking to continue their momentum after consecutive wins over ranked teams.
Arizona State faced off against Washington ace pitcher Noah Bremer, who entered the game with a 5-2 record and a 2.55 ERA.
Bremer displayed his best stuff versus the Sun Devils throwing a one-hitter in a dominant 4-0 win for Washington.
The only hit Arizona State was able to muster was a one-out single by shortstop Andrew Snow in the fourth inning.

Bremer finished throwing a complete game shutout allowing only the one hit, one walk and striking out 10 Sun Devils for his sixth win of the season.
Arizona State tabbed Eli Lingos for the start Friday and recovered after a shaky first inning in which the Huskies scored three runs.
Washington second baseman Levi Jordan scored the game’s opening run on a passed ball.
The Huskies would go on to score two more runs on an RBI single from first baseman John Naff and then an error by ASU right fielder Hunter Bishop dropping a fly ball in right field allowing third baseman Willie MacIver to score.
Lingos settled down throwing three straight shutout innings before allowing an RBI sac fly to center fielder Jack Meggs in the fifth inning to make it 4-0 Huskies.
The fifth inning would be Lingos’ final inning of work finishing the game allowing four runs (three earned) on four hits with four walks and three strikeouts.
Reliever Grant Schneider came on for Lingos throwing two scoreless innings allowing two hits with one walk and one strikeout.
Pitcher James Ryan relieved Schneider in the ninth inning throwing a scoreless inning striking out one Husky.

Arizona State dropped to 21-25 and 7-15 in Pac-12 play and will look to even the series Saturday with first pitch set for 2:05 PST and can be seen on the Washington Live Stream.
