FanSided Releases New Chrome Extension

Love keeping up with the latest Arizona State News? Now there is another way to keep up, and you can do it while checking your email!

FanSided has just announced the release of an extension for the Chrome web browser. This extension allows you to view news about your favorite sports teams (like Arizona State) without having to even leave your homepage.

Installation is simple and easy to use, first open the Chrome browser and head to the Chrome web store. Once you have reached the web store type in “Fansided” in the search box located in the top-left corner of the screen.

Once you hit search, you should see an extension titled “FanSided News” download that extension and you will have news about your favorite teams in seconds.

Once the extension has downloaded, there should be a small, grey, half-circle icon on the right hand side of your browsing screen. When hovered over, you should be able to see “FS”. Click on that circle and follow the on-screen directions to get access to your favorite sports teams’ news no matter what website you go to.

Like the content on Devils in Detail? Make sure to favorite “Arizona State Sun Devils Football” and “Arizona State Sun Devils Basketball” to have Devils in Detail content without having to go to the webpage!

Another cool feature of the new “FanSided News” extension is the notifications setting. Make sure that this setting is on for a subtle update anytime new content is posted about your favorite sports teams. It’s a great way to be one of the first people to know when any major news breaks about your favorite teams.

Now everyone likes sports, but there are other things in the world too. Movies, tv shows, and celebrity gossip are also important parts of most people’s everyday lives. In the FanSided News extension you can keep up to date with all of that too! Never again will you have to hear a co-worker spilling the beans on a new celebrity couple because that information will be right in front of you!
