The Arizona State Men’s Ice Hockey team plays at home for the second weekend in a row. The Sun Devils (3-12-0) will face off against the Colgate Raiders (3-8-4) in a two-game series.
Colgate travels to the desert on a three-game losing streak. The Raiders are only 1-5-1 on the road this season.
Sophomore forward Adam Dauda is the leading scorer for the Raiders. Dauda has four goals and seven assists through 13 games played.
Colgate is led by senior team captain Jake Kulevich. He is assisted by senior defenseman Brett Corkey and senior forward Tim Harrison.
Senior goaltender Charlie Finn has been the go-to starter for the Raiders. Through 15 games, he has started in 12 and has a .907 save percentage and allows an average of 3.06 goals per game.

Both teams have had their offensive struggles this season. Arizona State only averages a mere 2.2 goals per game, and Colgate isn’t doing much better with only a 2.47 average.
The Sun Devils have special teams play to blame for their losing woes this season. They are capitalizing on less than 9 percent of their power play chances with only seven goals on 78 chances. Arizona State also ranks third-to-last on the penalty kill at only 72.4 percent.
This weekend’s series against Colgate will be the last home games until January for the Sun Devils. Arizona State will travel to Massachusetts for three road games in the month of December before returning to the state of Arizona for the Desert Hockey Classic.
The Desert Hockey Classic is December 30-31st in Prescott, Arizona. The Sun Devils will play host to St. Cloud State, UConn, and Brown.
