With four games remaining in the season, the upcoming game against the Oregon Ducks might be the Sun Devils best chance to win.

Four game remaining, and each one means more than the last. After a turbulent season that has seen ASU go from one of the favorites to win the Pac-12 to a team that has struggled to score 10 points in a game.

Now with a schedule that features two ranked teams and a game against their in-state foe, the Sun Devils need to win their game against Oregon to make sure that they are not only bowl eligible, but that they end the season with at least a .500 record.

In order to get the win over the Ducks the Sun Devils will travel to Eugene where they haven’t had much success in the past.

Eugene is considered a difficult place to play for most any team, but it seems that ASU takes it to a whole new level. The last time they beat the Ducks in Eugene was in 2004 where the Sun Devils won 28-13. Ironically, that also is the last time the Sun Devils have defeated the Ducks regardless of venue.

More from Devils in Detail

The victory would give ASU a lot of momentum heading into their bye week. The long break will do good to help rest up some players who are suffering from injuries before they take on a tough Utah team.

If the Devils can come out victorious in that game, then the Sun Devils could been seen as a potential threat to spoil Washington’s playoff chances. That game would be the biggest game of the year for the Sun Devils and head coach Todd Graham would have his team motivated to prove that they are a team that will be looking to wreak havoc next season.

The craziness that is the Pac-12 regular season will come to a close when the Sun Devils travel down south to take on the Wildcats. That will be a game that neither team will want to lose and it could be the last time we see University of Arizona head coach Rich Rodriguez on the opposing sideline. An ASU victory would be the perfect way to end his tenure as head coach.
