Season Recap: women continue winning tradition, bright future

courtesy: Sun Devil Athletics

“Under first-year head coach Missy Farr-Kaye, the Arizona State women’s golf program accomplished an individual championship, two All-American honors and an NCAA Championship qualifier. The Sun Devils were ranked as high as No. 9 in the country as a team, while freshman Linnea Strom finished the season ranked No. 6 in the Golfweek/Sagarin rankings and junior Monica Vaughn ranked No. 14. Here’s a look back at all that was accomplished as a team during the 2015-16 season under Farr-Kaye and first-year assistant coach and ASU alumna Tiffany Tavee.”

A nice recap article that chronicles all of the women’s golf teams’ major accomplishments throughout the season.  Very exciting to see how much they accomplished this season and how much they could accomplish in the future.

Arizona State Sun Devils 2016 College Football Preview, Schedule, Prediction, Depth Chart, Outlook

“The Arizona State Sun Devils look for a bounce back year in 2016 after experiencing their first losing season under head coach Todd Graham. Arizona State is a program that’s won double-digit games in two of the last three years and is capable of being a sneaky dark horse in the competitive Pac-12.”

A great article that gives a quick little team overview before they give their season outlook. Definitely not the most in-depth season outlook but a nice little hold-me-over until the real breakdowns start in August.

Most indispensable player: Arizona State

“See your team in your mind’s eye — 24 starters, including specialists. If you could put an absolute halo of safety — perhaps a girdle of indestructibility? — around just one, who would it be? We’re rating each Pac-12 team’s most indispensable player. The only rule: Quarterbacks are not eligible for this post. Next up: Arizona State Sun Devils”

Since quarterbacks are off-limits, this article is very interesting. Who would you have as ASU’s most indispensable player? Who ESPN picked might surprise you.
