“Marvin Bagley III – one of the top high school basketball prospects of any age – has Arizona State and Arizona in his list of final six schools. In addition to the desert schools, the 6-10 junior power forward also included heavyweights Kentucky and Duke, as well as Pac-12 schools Oregon and UCLA.”
ASU Basketball has quickly been able to gain momentum recruiting-wise since Bobby Hurley became the coach of the program back in 2015. This article further shows the type of recruits Hurley has been able to bring to ASU with Marvin Bagley III being the latest top-recruit to show interest in ASU. After the disappointment of Thon Maker, maybe Bagley will bring his game to ASU but only time will tell.
ASU, developer going vertical with first phase of athletic facilities district
“Arizona State University and its athletic facilities district developer Catellus are finalizing plans to develop the first phase of the district on the Northwest corner of University Drive and Rural Road.”
This article focuses more on a proposed retail building and apartment complex that will make up part of the new athletic district for ASU. The reason that it is included in today’s Daily Devil is that it also mentions a new hockey arena, and a possible Wells Fargo Arena replacement. Could ASU fans finally get the new basketball stadium they have been asking for?
