ASU Football: Quick Recap Of ‘Camp T’ Scrimmage

Wide receiver Rashad Ross was the star of the scrimmage. He caught five passes for 193 yards and demonstrated his world-class speed. Three of his catches went for touchdowns: one for 20 yards, one for 37 and another for 92. Ross may prove to be a formidable weapon for the Sun Devils this season!

Running back James Morrison underscored his toughness at Camp T. Strong inside running was the order of the day. Morrison had an excellent scrimmage with 75 yards and a touchdown on 15 carries. He also caught three passes for 18 yards.

Sophomore quarterback Taylor Kelly looked confident in the pines of Tontozona. He’s gained a good command of the ASU offense and a nice touch with his receivers. Kelly completed 6 of 10 passes for 162 yards and two touchdowns. I predict he’ll be named ASU’s starting quarterback versus NAU, with teammate Michael Eubank playing a change-up role in the QB position.
