The Sun Devils (36-4, 7-2 Pac-12) ended the Stanford series by falling 4-3 on Sunday. Dallas Escobedo took the loss against the No. 14 Cardinal. Junior shortstop Cheyenne Coyle put up solid performances throughout the series, blasting a two-run homer to the left in the closing matchup. Coyle has 14 home runs this season, and her two homers against Stanford tie her for 15th in ASU single-season records. She is also 24th in single-season RBI (46).

The Sun Devils hit home runs for the first run of the game in all three contests with Stanford.

Arizona State posted a pair of victories against the Cardinal in a twin bill on Saturday. The first game was a high-scoring affair, which saw ASU come out on top 12-6. The nightcap ended as a 11-2 mercy rule victory for the Sun Devils after six innings.

ASU notched five home runs and 22 hits through the two Saturday games. Pitchers Dallas Escobedo (19-3) and Mackenzie Popescue (16-0) both picked up wins.

Washington (31-10, 9-3) just completed a three-game sweep of No. 24 Oregon State in Seattle. The Huskies earned their seventh-straight win of the season.
